About the Program

We believe everyone should have access to quality health care, regardless of their ability to pay. Dental Hygiene is important for your health.

The service is provided through a partnership with Pacifica Dental. Your appointment will take place between Monday and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm and for low-income racialized women and their accompanied minors

This free dental hygiene program provides dental hygiene check-ups and cleaning only. Pacifica Dental clinic can recommend further treatment if necessary. You and your accompanied minors need to visit the clinic location.

We are currently accepting new applications.


Eligibility:

  1. Black women, Indigenous Women and Women of Colour including transgender, non-binary and two-spirit community members.

  2. You must make less than the Low Income Cut-off. Please check the table below to check your eligibility

  3. Resident of the Greater Victoria area and will be able to visit the clinic location

  4. Individuals and their accompanied child(ren) from 0-18 years old *

  5. Individuals who agree to all terms and conditions provided by SNIWWOC & Pacifica Dental

Steps:

1. Fill out Free Dental Hygiene Check-up & Cleaning Request form.
2. Receive an email from SNIWWOW.

3. Submit proof of income (or household income if you are married/common-law), childcare statement, and/or school registration form and/or other proof of dependent to SNIWWOC.
4. Pacifica Dental schedules your appointment.


*Accompanied Child(ren) [age 0-18]:

If you would like to book appointment(s) for your child(ren), it must be booked with your appointment. You will not be able to book appointments for your child(ren) separately. There will be no walk-in clients accepted solely for child(ren).

1. Fill out an application form.
2. If you are eligible for this program, you will receive email notification from SNIWWOC for the appointment. Please note- we do NOT accept applications over the phone. we do NOT accept walk-in clients
3. Attend appointment
