Unseen and Unheard, We Knew Her Name (MMIWG)

  • GVPL 735 Broughton Street Victoria, BC, V8W 3H2 Canada (map)

This free event is part of a series of events to honour the lives and legacies of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and LGBTQ2S individuals. To provide education and raise awareness on race and gender based violence by acknowledging the broad and systemic causes of the issue.

Hosted by the Support Network for Indigenous Women & Women of Colour (SNIWWOC). We gather on the first Thursday of every month in the Community Room of the Greater Victoria Public Library. We believe in creating safe spaces for women to heal and connect with each other through food and conversations.

What to expect:
- Performances and Speakers
- Delicious dinner
- Opportunity to connect with other attendees

**Performances, speakers and artist line up will be announced closer to the date. Stay tuned.

Please RSVP either through the Facebook event or through Eventbrite. This is a free event and all are welcome to attend.
