Intersectional Healing: A Virtual Conversation

The intersections of gender and race makes it clear that there is no monolithic experience of racialization and womanhood.  We are faced with different challenges and have experienced different traumas. Regardless of what obstacles that have been put in our way, we as racialized women must learn and adapt strategies that promote healing and self love. That is what this event is all about. During this event we will be discussing how racialized women can create ways of healing that fit our needs and center our experiences. Topics that will be discussed are various traditional healing practices, and how we can adapt these to create meaning in our lives.
