The Healing Power of the Arts: World Mental Health Day

MicrosoftTeams-image (1).png

To raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health, The Belfry Theatre, the Bateman Foundation, SNIWWOC and Raino dance have come together to celebrate the intersections between the Arts and health.

Come dance under the sky with a community of movers all with their own headphones and a shared soundscape. Dance on your own in the company of others. Sanitized headsets will be provided on arrival, along with all materials for the paint experience. Wear clothes you won’t mind getting paint on, bring a bottle of water and join us to enjoy the experience.

Join us on the 10th of October, at 10:30 AM to Noon at Fernwood Square in front of the Belfry Theatre.

The event is free to all, however spots are limited so register today to reserve your space.

Despite the weather, we will gather and dance!

Check out our social media for community resources to enhance mental health through creative and arts engagement.
