A list of community programs and resources available on SNIWWOC

We empower women to take charge of their health by providing access to information, making informed choices, and advocating for themselves and demanding quality care when necessary.

Women connected to a network of women are more successful! Join our peer support program and say goodbye to isolation. We’re building a tribe of inspiring women that will help you level up. If you need ongoing support, we encourage you to reach out to our community resource experts.

We believe everyone should have access to quality health care, regardless of their ability to pay. All our mental health services are offered free of charge.

Career planning is a mental-health intervention and a well-being practice. This means that your work and life are in alignment with your mental health needs. What people do each day shapes who they are and how they feel about their daily lives.

SNIWWOC is providing a food security program for low-income racialized women including transgender and two-spirit community members. This program is intended to offset costs of monthly groceries, not to cover all costs.

SNIWWOC Dental Hygiene Clinic opens once a month on Sunday for low-income racialized women and their accompanied minors. The service is provided through a partnership with Pacifica Dental.

Hygiene essentials are crucial for our daily well-being, but their cost often strains monthly budgets. In our commitment to enhance the lives of our community, particularly underserved members, we offer a hygiene kit. This kit comprises a bath purse, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, sanitary pads, soap, and deodorant.

SNIWWOC supports organizations, schools, and communities in developing affirming spaces for all people, including gender-expansive, and queer racialized people.
Our work includes anti-racism training and audits, gender equity training, gender bias workshops, and supporting organizations as they work towards inclusion and reconciliation.
