Viveka Ichikawa

MSW RSW PhD (C)

Ontario (virtual & in-person in Toronto) and British Columbia ( virtual)

I work with individuals, families, and couples, particularly from immigrant, racialized, and LGBTQ+ communities. I believe that the challenges and struggles people face are intricately tied to systemic and societal factors. Through collaborative and therapeutic work, my goal is to aid persons in cultivating a healthier and more fulfilling self-perception, interpersonal relationships and life experiences, alongside fostering transformative healing from trauma.

My therapeutic approach encompasses addressing (Complex) Trauma, how to repair and strengthen relationships, and enhancing emotional and physical intimacy. My therapy approach operates from trauma and culturally informed, intersectional, anti-racist, feminist, and 2SLQBTQ+-affirming values.

I am passionate about supporting people living with challenges associated with identity-based trauma, mixed-race identity, settlement, family issues, mental health and stress management with trauma-informed therapy. I would like to meet and learn about you as a holistic person. I have some sliding scale spots available according to your needs.

As a native Japanese speaker, her sessions are available in Japanese as well.

Stephanie Erickson

All over Canada (virtual)

I am Stephanie Erickson, Holistic Wellness Counsellor and Founder of Strawberry Medicine Counselling. An Intuitive, Healer, and Humble Companion to those crafting the melody to their song of life.

Counselling as Ceremony. Working with all people across Turtle Island, I acknowledge Spirit first in my First Nations approach to healing because Spirit is the unifying dimension. I continue to embrace myself as an energy healer alongside my training as a counsellor as Psychology means “Study of the Soul.” My creative flow of healing involves “Wrapping each version of ourselves in healing, even the parts of ourselves we do not like to share with the world.” Working from a person-centred perspective, I allow myself to be guided by Creator, Spirit Guides, and Angel Team to bring forth the ceremony and messages you need. I use traditional medicines, smudge blends, and sound healing as an immersive healing experience.

Strawberry Medicine. The teachings of the Strawberry and its Creation Story guide my values and intentions with my clients in guiding them back to their hearts so they can engage in life from a place of worthiness. It is through mending our hearts from grief and establishing a trusting relationship with ourselves that we can call our Spirits home back to our bodies. It is through this important relationship with ourselves that we are able to connect with the deeper world around us.
