The Support Network for Indigenous Women & Women of Colour (SNIWWOC) is committed to balancing client care with public health measures. Please familiarize yourselves with frequently asked questions around service delivery. 

In-person appointments

You will be informed via email if your appointment is in-person. Our office is located at 203-2722 Fifth Street, Victoria BC V8T 4B2. There is free street parking in front of the office, and two parking lots behind and adjacent to the office. 

Will I be screened at the entrance?

Yes, we are screening all clients entering our office for COVID-19 symptoms upon entry into the building. You will be asked to sanitize your hands, screened for symptoms of COVID-19 and given a mask to wear throughout your visit. 

If you are feeling unwell before your appointment, please do not come to the office. Give us a call and we will offer you a virtual appointment.   

I have a virtual appointment. What does this mean and how I can prepare?

Through the use of virtual appointments, we are making healthcare more accessible, responsive and equitable through the use of digital health tools, like video visits. To attend a virtual appointment, you will need a computer, laptop, or mobile device with:

  • A reliable and secure Wifi internet connection

  • A front-facing camera (webcam)

  • A microphone

  • Speakers or headphones

Do I need to wear a mask when attending an in-person appointment? 

Yes, everyone attending an in-person appointment must be wearing a mask. At the front entrance you will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and given a new mask to wear during your time in the building.
