We all have goals... plans, dreams that we want to accomplish. 2020 was incredibly tough; let’s get ahead and usher 2021 in with positivity and intention.
Please join us at the first SNIWWOC event this year and set your 2021 goals strategically using the laws of manifestation and the S.M.A.R.T. goals technique.
The principle of manifestation is a combination of the power of our thoughts and the great capacity they hold to influence the trajectory of our lives. Through the law of attraction we uncover the power of manifestation, as well as specific techniques that teach us how to manifest our dreams.
Creating a vision board is a crux in the art of manifesting. This is a great place to begin our manifestation practice as it will help us to hone in on what we want the big picture to look like.
Vision boards are like scrapbooks.They contain words and images that convey the energies and values you wish to experience in your life. And the idea is if you keep working towards something better, but fail to have a vision for where you wish to be, then your efforts will be aimless. It would be like hopping into your car for a drive, not knowing where your destination will be, but expecting to find your perfect vacation destination spot when you arrive.
At this event, we will be learning how to strategically set goals using the S.M.A.R.T. method and how to achieve them through the power of manifestation.
We recommend you to join us with your laptop or desktop in order to enjoy the online activities. Be hands-free, no phones! This is gonna be a fun, hands-on event, here’s a short list of a few optional items you may need or already have around the house.
Supplies will vary according to your personal artistic flair, but typically you will want to have:
a large sheet of heavy weight paper, or piece of cardboard
magazines, flyers, newspapers other print materials,
scissors,
glue,
and writing tools.
Ensure that the print materials you have at hand are aligned with your values. Pick colors and images that make you feel good. Pick all the things that you love!
While we listen and interact with our speakers, we will be creating our vision-boards to breathe life into our goals for 2021.
Some important notes:
Once we are ready to craft our vision boards, we will take a few moments to mindfully reflect upon what it is we yearn to experience in this life. What is our calling? What is “sparking joy”? Let’s concentrate on that.
Consider the place we yearn to call home, the people we wish to have in our lives, and the activities or work we wish to pursue.
Allow our minds to expand as far as possible as we begin vision-boarding putting our words and images onto paper. Manifest.
This is an interactive event, so we encourage questions and discussion. Feel free to share your work! You will have time to ask the presenters questions. You will also have the ability to connect with presenters after the event privately.
Manifestation works. Goal-setting works. Let’s get creative and have fun setting ourselves up for a successful 2021!
Meet our Facilitator: Christine Anacleto
Christine was born in the Caribbean, raised in Northern BC and currently resides in Victoria. She is a Success Coach, Certified Executive Coach and Registered Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in changing lives. She says, “My passion is bringing gifts to light. I love that moment when I hear from a client, ‘what I would really love to do is…’ I love partnering with my audience and clients to stretch their comfort zone and make their dreams a reality.”
Known for her optimism, intuition, and deep listening skills, Christine is an authentic leader and inspires others to take a look at what they truly want and make it happen. In 2011 she found her true passion in coaching and Create Your Success was born! Through inspirational speaking and transformational coaching she partners with current and emerging leaders, individuals and organizations to make their dreams a reality.
Christine is also a Coaching Educator and Certified Trainer of the 5/5/5 Coaching Skills™ and Using Coaching to Lead™ programs with Coaching out of the Box. Currently she works for Bridges for Women Society, coordinating the online program for women. In her spare time, Christine loves going to the beach, trying new cuisine, and connecting with family and friends.

Meet our Speaker: Yamila Franco
Yamila was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. As a proud Afro-Indigenous womxn, she is the co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Nyoka Design Labs, a clean technology social enterprise designing eco-friendly & innovative products by bringing traditional, Indigenous knowledge to solve today's environmental challenges.
Yamila started her journey to heal her relationship with money while she was in university and upon realizing that many of her peers were struggling with debt and lack of understanding of the financial system like she was. This resulted in her becoming a licensed financial professional in 2018, which led her to dive into financial education as a way to empower communities and a pathway towards freedom and entrepreneurship.
Since then, Yamila has been a strong advocate for building resilient communities for financial inclusion of diverse groups, especially in the BIPOC community. Earlier this year Yamila was awarded the REP Youth Award by HERE in Canada due to her leadership, advocacy, and anti-racism work in the community and was a finalist for the @eo_gsea Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards Nationals. Yamila recently became the co-founder of AfroHub Market, which focuses on supporting the global community of entrepreneurs of African Descent by building and scaling their business with a focus on sustainability. "My goal is to raise more leaders in the community so we can break cycles of intergenerational poverty, create more opportunities for leadership & building sustainability at different levels of community and business."
