Event Details:
Join us for a series of FREE yoga sessions followed by a sharing circle that will be offered twice a month until October 2021. We have been offering these sessions since January and are now welcoming two new yoga instructors, Jessica Barudin & Gagan Leekha, to our team! Jessica will be leading our sessions from June to mid August & Gagan will be leading our sessions from mid August-October. Check out their bios below!
We are holding this space specifically for Black women, Indigenous women, women of color, two-spirit and BIPOC non-binary folks to come together for a gentle vinyasa practice and community gathering space. Our hope is to nurture spaces where BIPOC women and queer folks can heal, build community and deepen networks of support. Please only register if you are part of the listed identity groups.
These sessions will consist of a 45 minute to 1 hour guided yoga practice led by Jessica Barudin (June-August) & Gagan Leekha (August-October) followed by a sharing circle where we will all have a chance to introduce ourselves, share what we feel called to share and connect to the teachings of each session. The sharing circle is informal, it is a space where we can explore different themes connected to holistic healing (more info on each theme to come) and build community. These sessions will take place online through zoom video conferencing.
